The SK500, the first Silver Reed electronic knitting machine, works slightly different than the other electronic models in the SK5xx and SK8xx series. Both SilverKnit and SilverLink 4 hardware is developed to support the SK5xx and SK8xx series Silver Reed electronic knitting machines. In order to provide support for SK500 Silver Reed electronic knitting machines, we have developed the SK500Ex (SK500 Extension). The SK500Ex is mounted between the SilverKnit box or the SilverLink 4 box and the curly wire. The green LED shows whether the carriage is between the point cams. |
